ACS WalletMate - Mobile Wallet NFC Reader

The ACS WalletMate aka the ACR1252U is rudimentary NFC reader capable of reading Apple VAS and Google SmartTap NFC passes. While we do not actively recommend this piece of hardware, we understand that it's low cost makes it an attractive option for many people. This reader DOES NOT come pre-configured with your pass template keys, you must write code that explicitly controls the reader using PC/SC and APDUs to make this reader compatible with our passes.
 
This version of the has been enhanced, so that it can support the use of mobile wallet passes. It has been certified for Apple VAS (value-added services) and Google Smart Tap applications, such as loyalty schemes, tickets, and staff or student IDs. The ACR1252U-MW is housed in a plastic case with a captive cable.
 
The WalletMate is developed based on 13.56MHz, it supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE®, FeliCa, and ISO 18092–compliant NFC tags. It is certified by the NFC forum, making it capable of the three NFC modes, namely: card reader/writer, card emulation and peer-to-peer communication.
 
Compliant with both CCID and PC/SC, this plug-and-play USB NFC device allows interoperability with different devices and applications. It is thus ideal for integrating into various systems to support both physical smart cards and virtual wallet passes.
