Dot Origin - VTAP50 OEM NFC reader - USB

VTAP50 is a streamlined version of the VTAP100 from Dot Origin, for integration into your own enclosure or kiosk.
 
VTAP50 is a PassNinja preferred due to it's ease of configuration, excellent documentation and adaptive capability. It works in many environments, including retail loyalty, cashless payment, gym check-in, and sports ticketing. The VTAP50 from Dot Origin can selectively read and decrypt NFC pass data from iPhone or Android devices, and transfer this data to a connected system. It can also read unique IDs and secure encoded data from many RFID and NFC cards and tags, including MIFARE Classic and DESFire.
 
When you order this reader and have existing pass templates created in your account, we will pre-configure it with the credentials that allow the reader to work out of the box with your passes.
 
This reader has several modes for sending pass data over USB. This can be via a keyboard emulation or over a serial interface, which makes it possible to add the VTAP50 to existing systems without software changes, to update an established card or ticket experience, to one where passes are wholly electronic. It comes as a bare PCB, so we recommend this enclosure and this cable to assemble it into something more presentable.
