Kiosk V is a suggested for outdoor use. It is a purpose built, ruggedized, weather-resistant device. It's ideal for situations like parking garages, arenas and other outdoor checkin points. The Kiosk V from ID Tech can selectively read and decrypt NFC pass data from iPhone or Android devices, and transfer this data to a connected system.
When you order this reader and have existing pass templates created in your account, we will pre-configure it with the credentials that allow the reader to work out of the box with your passes.
This reader can be purchased to use one of several methods for passing NFC data over to connected devices including BLE, RS232, USB & UART. However this model is for USB communication only. This makes it possible to add the Kiosk V to existing systems without software changes, to update an established card or ticket experience, to one where passes are wholly electronic.
